ADOS Training at the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre
OTARC is pleased to offer training to clinicians and researchers on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) from 2011. Courses will be facilitated by Dr Kristelle Hudry, an WPS/ACER accredited ADOS trainer. Kristelle has a PhD in Educational Psychology and expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorders, including early detection and diagnostic assessment.
Places are currently available for a course to be run at OTARC, La Trobe University, Victoria (Bundoora campus) from 14-17 February, 2011. A maximum of 6 trainees per course will permit intensive small-group interaction to facilitate learning. The fee will be $2200 per person, covering all materials and training for 4 days, morning/afternoon tea and lunch for 4 days, and detailed individualised feedback on trainees’ post-course work. The fee does not include trainees’ travel or accommodation costs to attend the course or materials which trainees will need to access prior to and after the course (i.e., an ADOS kit and manual).
For details or to register interest, please contact Kristelle directly: k.hudry@latrobe.edu.au. Placement will be confirmed upon receipt of completed registration forms and payment of a holding deposit. Full payment will be required approximately one month prior to course commencement. Pre-course materials will then be distributed to allow trainees to begin familiarisation with the ADOS.
