Essential presentation for teachers and school leaders
Keys to School Leadership workshop with Phil Ridden, 9 August 2012
In a presentation based on his latest book of the same title, Keys to School Leadership, written in collaboration with John De Nobile of Macquarie University, Phil reviews fundamental concepts which leaders must understand and apply in schools today, bringing a contemporary approach to the meaning of school leadership and the implications for practice.
We will engage with emerging issues and anticipate future trends in educational leadership in a way which will shift your thinking. This presentation encourages a critically reflective mindset for all who lead or aspire to lead, encouraging participants to relate the material to their own specific context.
Phil brings to his presentations experience as a primary and secondary teacher, deputy principal, principal, curriculum writer and consultant, professional learning consultant and Board member in government and independent schools.
This presentation is for anyone who is a school leader at any level, or anyone who aspires to lead.
